The first Boeing 787 Dreamliner built at the company?s plant in North Charleston, S.C., took to the skies on Wednesday. The aircraft took off shortly after noon Eastern time on what was expected to be a five-hour flight, according to a report from the Post and Courier newspaper. University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora on Thursday will cut the ribbon on its $20 million expansion of the Anschutz Cancer Pavilion. Construction of the five-story addition on the north side of the pavilion began in October 2010. The expansion adds 40,000 square feet to the pavilion, bringing total space to 148,000 square feet. Hawaii interisland shipper Young Brothers reported a 2.6 percent increase in its cargo volume for the first quarter of this year compared to the same time in 2011.
