By printing money, is Gordon Brown trying to push us into accepting the Euro currency?
Doing this devalues Sterling. Is he trying to make us feel like fools for not joining sooner? Is he trying to sabotage Sterling so that we will have no choice, even if it makes us poorer than we would have been previously? By pushing through Lisbon and not honouring the promise of a referendum, he has made it obvious that he will resort to dirty tactics to get there. What good does printing money do? This is more evidence of the Labour government working against the British. What exports? We buy more from Europe than we sell as we don't have a large manufacturing industry anymore. Confused Hal, if we buy more from Europe than we sell, doesn't it just mean everything is more expensive for us.
