I do not understand why we are not getting more euros to the pound.Are the banks keeping it low deliberately to balance the export market?

Should I change my 25k of euros to pounds to avoid a loss if the predicted Euro crash happens?
I really don't understand fully the eurozone problem but am scared about losing my worth or value on my euros compared to to converting it now to pounds sterling.
