Question about the Euro?
According to the government website: http://www.euro.gov.uk/home.asp, the UK government is in favour of joining the euro. They do say though that the economic conditions have to be right. On exchanging my holiday money into euros, I did notice that the pound isn't as strong against the euro as it used to be. Is the current economic downturn the government's way of ensuring economic conditions are right to join the euro?
