The 1,120 guest rooms at the The Hyatt Regency Dallas will get a new look, thanks to a $50 million renovation the hotel is beginning.
The makeover is scheduled for completion by year's end and is being led by Dallas-based Woodbine Development Corp. Dallas-based CamargoCopeland Architects and EDG Interior Architects of San Rafael, Calif. make up the design team.
Clark Contractors of Little Rock, Ark. is managing the project.
Bee Cave OKs zoning change for 8.5-acre sports complex

Developers can move forward with construction on an 8.5-acre indoor and outdoor sports complex in Bee Cave after city officials approved a zoning change necessary for work to begin.
The 80,490-square-foot Hill Country Indoor Complex will be built near the Backyard at Bee Cave and should be open by next spring, Community Impact Newspaper reports.

Columbus McKinnon Corp. reported Thursday net income surged 253.8 percent in the fourth quarter, rising to $9 million, or 46 cents per share.
A year ago, the Buffalo-based maker of material handling products (NASDAQ: CMCO) posted profit of $2.5 million, or 13 cents per share.
